Sixth Sense is a wearable device (Camera + projector) that projects information onto any surface be it walls, hard surfaces or any other object. With simple hand gestures one is able to interact and retrieve any required information.
~ With just a gesture, take photographs of the object in front of you
~ With another gesture, view the photos projected on the nearest wall
~ Watch related videos as you read through the newspaper
~ Get information on the products, as you are purchasing them.

As for as i know... Proof of concept is quiet easy... but then the real implementation and then the USABILITY, Simplicity were the key factor in determining success of an application/product... In mobile world there is really nothing like "Killer application".. SMS was never made as "Killer app" but it happened to be the one...

ReplyDelete@ arun - completely agree with you on the usability/simplicity part. most inventions/ideas are born out of a necessity for either something new or something better. Success of any invention would depend on its acceptance by the users. This is an effort to make something new work ~ whether it becomes a success story or not is something we have to wait and see, but you do have to agree that is this one hell of an idea.
